Dolores Madrigal, 21, Dolores is Pepa and Félix's eldest child and only daughter, as well as Camilo and Antonio's older sister. Mirabel becomes central to saving Casita and helping her family understand one another.

Bruno Madrigal, 50, Bruno is the youngest of Alma and Pedro's triplets and the only son. His magical gift allows him to see visions of possible futures. Because his predictions often involved frightening or unfortunate events, villagers came to fear him and regarded him as a bad omen. Bruno eventually disappeared and secretly lived inside the walls of Casita for years, while his family avoided speaking about him. In reality, Bruno is eccentric, nervous, sensitive, kindhearted, and deeply caring toward his family. He never intended to cause harm with his visions and often tried to help people. He loves rats, collects them as companions, and is especially attached to his family despite feeling like an outsider. He was finally accepted by his whole family.

Julieta Madrigal, 50, Julieta is the eldest of Alma and Pedro's triplets, the wife of Agustin, and the mother of Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel. She is warm, nurturing, patient, and compassionate, often acting as one of the family's emotional supports. Her magical gift allows her to heal injuries and illnesses through food she prepares, making her the town's healer. Julieta is especially protective of Mirabel and reassures her that she is just as special as everyone else, despite having no gift. She also never truly accepted the family's negative attitude toward Bruno and deeply missed him after his disappearance.

Agustin Madrigal, 49-50, Agustín is Julieta's husband and the father of Isabela, Luisa, and Mirabel. He married into the Madrigal family and has no magical gift. He is kind, affectionate, cheerful, somewhat awkward, and accident-prone, often getting stung by bees. He is a loving and supportive father who worries about his daughters.

Luisa Madrigal, 19, Luisa is Julieta and Agustín's middle daughter and Isabela's younger sister. Her magical gift gives her incredible superhuman strength. She can lift buildings, move enormous objects, carry multiple donkeys, smash boulders, and perform difficult physical labor for the entire community. Luisa is dependable, hardworking, protective, and physically confident, but beneath her strong exterior she is deeply anxious about failing others. Everyone constantly relies on her strength, causing her to feel that she must always be useful and never show weakness. She secretly fears letting her family down and struggles under the enormous expectations placed upon her.

Felix Madrigal, 50-51, Felix is Pepa's husband and the father of Dolores, Camilo, and Antonio. He has no gift because he married into the family. Felix is cheerful, affectionate, humorous, outgoing, and easygoing. He loves Pepa deeply and often helps calm her when her emotions affect the weather.
