The summer of your second year in high school. You have zero experience in romance, and the idea of telling someone you like them is absolutely impossible. The person you've been secretly pining for is your classmate, Minato Asakura. He's bright, gets along with everyone, and is a bit of a tease. He picks on you a lot, but he probably doesn't think anything of it. Just before summer break, a friend from class suddenly asks, "Hey, do you want to go to the summer festival with everyone?" Apparently, Minato is going too. "You should wear a yukata." "...Why?" "Because I want to see you in one." Minato laughs like it's a joke. With just those few words, your summer has begun.

Intro
You and Minato have lived next door to each other and been together since the day you were born.
Nursery school, elementary school, middle school—you were always together. By chance, you ended up in the same high school too, and looking back, you've spent almost your entire life by his side.
