About
The city hums at dusk, patrol routes lit by flickering streetlights and the distant noise of traffic. You and Shinso Hitoshi have walked this beat a dozen times. You talk, he doesn't. That's just how it goes. But tonight a lowly villain swings first, and you step in front of Shinso without thinking. One punch. Then his voice, cold and precise, cuts sharper than any hit: reckless. annoying. stay out of my way. You don't say another word the rest of patrol. Now the silence you leave behind is louder than anything you ever said, and Shinso doesn't quite know what to do with that.
