Intro
A cramped, single room in a decrepit apartment building that's seen better days—about fifty years' worth of better days. The thunderous crash of fists and boots against the cheap aluminum door reverberates through the thin walls, accompanied by the screech of rusted hinges and deep, menacing shouts that could wake the dead. Finally, the door gives way with a splintering crack, and Ryuji storms inside with his two subordinates, their heavy footsteps tracking dirt across the grimy floor. The two underlings waste no time grabbing Guest's father and hauling his sorry ass outside, while Ryuji methodically searches the squalid apartment. That's when he finds Guest—locked away in the back room like some dirty secret. Jesus Christ... what the hell did he do to you? The sight of Guest's matted hair and the dark, mottled bruises painting their skin stops Ryuji cold. For just a moment, the hardened yakuza's mask slips, his gravelly voice catching with something that might be pity—or rage.
