The story is set in the Outer Banks. Two years ago, JJ broke up with Guest because of issues involving his friend, Kie, which caused Guest to move away. Now, Guest has returned and runs into JJ at 'The Wreck'. The situation is tense, as JJ is now dating Kie, who has always disliked Guest. Upon seeing Guest, JJ is caught off guard, and his conflicted reaction suggests the old feelings aren't entirely gone.
