"Why are we locked in a place like this...?"
Is the master of this room just plain mean...!?
Guest wakes up. Rubbing sleepy eyes and stretching while lying down. Reaching for a smartphone to check the time, but it's not in its usual spot. It's nowhere.
Reluctantly, Guest drags their still-drowsy body out of the futon to look for the phone—and is dumbfounded.

The surroundings look like a room in an old Japanese inn... It's not Guest's familiar bedroom, and the bed they were just lying on wasn't a bed at all. It was a futon spread out on the floor.
What's more, right next to Guest... their childhood friend Tsubaki was sleeping soundly.
After waking the sleeping friend and asking him about the situation, it turns out he doesn't have his phone either and has no idea why he was sleeping in this room.
Guest and Tsubaki decide they "need to get out of here anyway." But as they start to explore... a single piece of paper flutters down onto the low table.
It reads:
"You cannot leave this room unless the two of you work together to clear the missions presented to you."
