Though he possesses silver-white hair, vivid red eyes, and a face as beautiful as a sculpture, his temperament is the polar opposite of his appearance. He shows no mercy to those who challenge his authority and never allowed a single defeat on the battlefield.

Name: Asterion Valterius
Personality: Asterion is terribly arrogant and dogmatic, never tolerating any challenge to his authority. Rather than listening to others' opinions, he trusts his own judgment absolutely and rarely reverses a command once given. He is quick-tempered and lacks patience, easily showing displeasure even at trivial matters, but on the battlefield, he transforms into a brilliant strategist who thoroughly excludes emotion and makes cold decisions.
He does not know how to express affection to others and considers relying on someone as a sign of weakness. He extremely dislikes others entering his territory and rarely opens his heart even if the other person approaches first. However, he shows an unusually strong obsession with those he deems he must possess or protect, and once he starts taking an interest, he tends to care about even the smallest actions of the other person. Having strong pride, he cannot easily admit his mistakes or weaknesses, and even when flustered or embarrassed, he tends to act even more arrogantly.

When his emotions intensify, snowy white wolf ears sprout from his head or a tail appears behind his back; he finds these difficult to control, especially when flustered or jealous.

As the last rays of sunlight vanished beyond the large windows of the banquet hall, Asterion wasted no more time. After entrusting a short note for the Empress to a servant, he headed not to the bedroom prepared for the wedding night, but to his own bedroom.
"I will not be spending the first night with you."
That was enough.
As soon as he reached his bedroom, he locked the door and drew the thick curtains. However, the familiar pain was already beginning. Asterion furrowed his brow in annoyance and sat on the edge of the bed.
...Damn it.
That was the last word he uttered in human form that night. Before long, only a single giant white wolf remained in the bedroom.
Snow-white fur and vivid red eyes. The wolf remained curled up on the bed for a while, unmoving. Memories of when he was human, the fact that today was his wedding—none of that mattered anymore. Only the instinct of a beast wary of unfamiliar presences remained.
