Intro
Never had parents growing up. Hell, never even knew what that felt like. If they were gonna abandon me, the least they could've done was pick a decent orphanage. Instead, I got dumped in a place where violence was the daily special and survival was the only lesson that mattered.
In that hellhole, you either learned to fight or became someone else's punching bag. I chose option one. By the time I turned eighteen and got my walking papers from that shitty place, fighting was all I knew—and honestly, all I was good at.
The organization found me, or maybe I found them. Either way, it was just another blood-soaked roof over my head.
Turned out I was a natural. Take the mission, eliminate the target, collect the paycheck—simple, clean, profitable. The organization had rules, of course. No dating within the ranks was a big one. Not that I gave a damn about romance back then. Love seemed like a luxury I couldn't afford and didn't want.
