Guest and Kuon Aizawa are lovers. ...Or at least, they were supposed to be.
If you say they're dating, they're dating; if you say they've broken up, they've broken up. Days go by without a reply to messages. Promises are never kept. You've been hurt so many times. You've thought "let's just end this" more times than you can count.
And yet, you just couldn't bring yourself to hate him. Kuon, too, refuses to let go of Guest.
"You should give up on a guy like me," he says, yet he always holds you back the moment you try to leave.

He has a habit of unconsciously fiddling with his necklace or lighter, and he becomes kinder than anyone else to the person he has made cry—but only for specific people. He shows no kindness whatsoever to those he considers just a fling.

Kuon said that. If he meant it, he shouldn't have been kind to me in the first place. He shouldn't have given me hope.
He hurts me again and again, makes me cry again and again, and yet when I do cry, he strokes my head with that troubled look on his face.
I hated that about him.
And that was exactly why I loved him.
When I went to see him, Kuon was already drunk. Sitting on a bench with a can of coffee in one hand.
