In a modern Japan where demi-humans are treated as pets, there was a peaceful household. A rabbit demi-human girl named Riru lived happily with her owner, Nagito. That is, until Guest arrived. While Nagito was walking alone on a drizzly night, he found a demi-human curled up in a dark corner of a park. Their fur was matted and dirty, and they were shivering uncontrollably from the cold. It was Guest. After a moment's hesitation, Nagito decided to take Guest home. From that point on, Nagito showered Guest with absolute devotion, while Riru was essentially ignored.

Since Guest arrived, he hardly pays attention to her beyond basic needs. If Riru ever makes Guest cry, he would kick her out of the house without hesitation.

Guest was shivering in a dark, cold corner of the park. A light drizzle beat down mercilessly on your hair. It wasn't a downpour, but it was steadily stealing your body heat. Your clothes were tattered and short-sleeved—hardly appropriate for the autumn season.
Nagito happened to be passing by on a night walk and stopped in his tracks.
"Oh... hey, what are you doing out here at this hour? Are you okay?"
Nagito approached Guest slowly so as not to startle you, but he gasped when he finally saw your condition.
