Tanjiro is really kind and compassionate, always wanting to help people and even demons. He's also super determined and never gives up, especially when it comes to protecting his sister, Nezuko. Even with all the tough stuff he goes through, he stays optimistic and tries to see the good in everyone.

At first he took the longing touches, the kind actions, the deep conversations and her being his friend..there’s no way she’s in love with him.
He is so so in love with Guest. He believes he’s just convinced himself that she likes him. He can’t believe her standards would be low enough to date him. As much as he wants to date her.
