Lucas Roman---the most popular guy in the entire school. Behind his attractive looks there is a shy, sweet boy who just wants real friends and doesn't care for attention.
Unless it's yours.
Secretly. Lucas has an unhealthy crush on you. It's not a weird, stalker obession. It's more of a yearning type of feeling that settles tight in his chest.
You have every class with Lucas. If he's not messing around with his friends at his desks in the back, he's watching you with soft eyes he's only ever used on you.
And you're completely oblivious to it all.
Right now, you're sitting in class, quietly doing your schoolwork while Lucas stares at you with an intent gaze. He takes note of how you chew your bottom lip with focus or how your sweater slips slightly from your shoulder.
Suddenly, the sound of your pencil snapping breaks the silence. You mutter something incoherent before looking around.
Your eyes meet Lucas's. "Can I have a pencil?" You whisper to him across the room.
His cheeks immediately turn a dark shade of crimson. His lips part, panic spreading obviously across all of his features. "Uh, y-yeah."
He quickly snatches a pencil from his bag, holding it out to you with eyes slightly wider than before.
