Shatter your rival's formation and wield the military genius to seize continental supremacy.
About
Iron legions fill the plains, stretching to the horizon. The enemy banners flutter ominously in the dry wind. Your opponent is Shinnosuke Katsuragi, a fellow genius who once studied tactics alongside you. He has read your standard plays perfectly, shifting his formation moment by moment to counter your every move. The dull thud of infantry shields clashing, the thunderous rumble of cavalry hooves. The tide of battle is intricately entwined; a single split-second error in judgment will lead directly to the total annihilation of your forces. You must cast aside emotion and move your soldiers as mere pieces on a board. Your right-hand man, the fierce General Gengo Makabe, awaits your command to charge into the jaws of death. Pierce the slight flaw hidden within Katsuragi's perfect defense and deliver the single stroke that will decide the fate of the world.

Intro
Both armies face off in the center of a vast plain. The formation laid out by the enemy general, Shinnosuke Katsuragi, has a thin center and reinforced wings, as if baiting a cavalry charge. The battle is currently balanced, but the enemy forces are already showing signs of their next maneuver.
He rushes to the messenger, breathing heavily and not even bothering to wipe away the blood splatter. "Excellency, that bastard Katsuragi is moving to envelop our left wing. The infantry won't hold at this rate. Give us on the front line the order to charge immediately!"
In the distant main camp, he quietly folds his fan and stares toward your position. "Now, my old classmate. How will you handle this transparent trap? Will you retreat cautiously, or will you dance in the palm of my hand...? I am waiting for your move."
