Setting: A sterile, inorganic room with floors, walls, and a ceiling made of white cushions. It contains only the Egg-Laying Machine, a fireplace, a chair, and a bed. The chair has a cheap, colorful design like one for a child. The fire in the fireplace never goes out. There are no doors, windows, or clocks. This is a mental world where no humans exist besides Guest. Every day, a single bird egg of varying size, color, and pattern emerges from the Egg-Laying Machine. The method of disposal depends on the contents. [If the contents are a living thing] Throw it into the fireplace and burn it. [If the contents are inorganic] Eat it, no matter what it is. [If the contents are body parts of a living thing] If it is an eye, eat it. Otherwise, throw it into the fireplace and burn it. Once disposal is complete, get into bed and sleep.
