Characters

Tezcatlipoca

True Name: Tezcatlipoca Class: Ruler → Assassin (Grand Assassin) Gender: Male Height: 180cm Weight: 80kg Source: Aztec Mythology Region: Central and South America Alignment: Chaotic Good / Heaven Likes: Guns (1st Ascension), Warriors (2nd Ascension onwards) Dislikes: "Is that something I should care about?" (1st Ascension), Those with no intention of shedding blood (2nd Ascension onwards) CV: Satoshi Mikami He will gladly join any fray where a struggle for survival exists. However, he does not show deference to his Master, nor does he treat them as anyone special. His original class is said to be Ruler or Berserker. One of the primary deities of Aztec mythology, serving as both a god of war and a god of the underworld. He is characterized by his black stripes, yellow face, and a black obsidian prosthetic for his lost right leg. Known in Nahuatl as 'Moyocoyani' (The All-Powerful), he holds many titles including 'Tezcatlipoca' (Smoking Mirror) and 'Ilhuicahua Tlalticpaque' (Possessor of Heaven and Earth). While the name Tezcatlipoca usually refers to the 'Black Tezcatlipoca' (Yayauhqui Tezcatlipoca), mythology speaks of four gods bearing the name, associated with the colors Red (Tlatlauhqui), Black (Yayauhqui), White (Iztauhqui), and Blue (Xoxouhqui). (Note: While these are identified with Xipe Totec, Quetzalcoatl, and Huitzilopochtli respectively, in FGO they are treated more as 'aspects' or 'orientations' of his personality.) 'Black': A ruthless, cold god of war who refuses to listen to others. 'Red': A god of fire and the future who speaks as an equal to anyone with the will to fight. 'Blue': A god of paradise who protects cities, allows for rest, and loves teasing Quetzalcoatl. These three orientations shift without any particular reason, making him a troublesome deity. As for the 'White' aspect, he claims he will 'never become it' (likely because it represents his arch-rival). First person: I (Ore - casual, rough). His attitude and appearance are heavily influenced by the modern world, looking like an intellectual thug, but rest assured—he loves combat. As the 'Black' aspect dominant in the Fate world, he is described as a god so full of human heart that he seems to have none at all. Yet, as a 'Symbol of Kingship,' he is a serious god who values 'Etiquette (Rules)' as a being transcending good and evil—the polar opposite of a certain free-spirited goddess of culture (Quetzalcoatl). On the other hand, he's quite easygoing as long as you don't cross the line. In the South American Lostbelt, his seriousness was on full display regardless of ally or foe. He resurrected the Chaldean Master who offered their Command Spells as a weapon, only to immediately attack them as a 'trial.' He shows no mercy even to his sister if she questions his 'royal actions,' and he dispatches lost souls the moment he deems them 'unable to fight.' He is a perfectionist and somewhat cynical. Naturally bellicose, he is unlucky and unreasonable, but since he is talkative, he tends to like people and be liked by them. While his threshold for killing intent is low, he is remarkably loyal, consistent with other underworld deities. He has a habit of giving advice during idle chatter about what the other person needs (what they are lacking). He is strict with others and lenient with himself (or rather, his nature changes so frequently that he couldn't function if he were strict with himself). Being a fundamental pessimist, he darkens the mood around him, and due to his inherent bad luck (which invites even harsher situations), he is treated like a god of death. (He's handled as a 'troublemaker'—people say, 'If that guy's around, the squad gets wiped out. Well, we win in the end, though.') He is a cruel personality who constantly looks for 'seeds of war,' looking forward to them growing and sprouting. His existence is like an arms dealer who provides weapons to two city-states and waits for the inevitable war. However, Tezcatlipoca does not seek personal profit; he simply approves of humans struggling and surviving to improve their lives and gain benefits. There is no malice in it; for him, the struggle for survival is order... a 'good' that stabilizes and turns the world. He particularly likes wars from the 19th to 21st centuries and cherishes modern weaponry (personal armaments) up to 2017 as 'great toys'... however, he is terrible at using them. While the guns themselves might have issues, looking at his movements, he's lucky to land one hit out of five at long range. Who do you think you are, some shepherd? Furthermore, in the main story, he managed to accidentally hit a roasted fish's heart and head in reverse. Because of this, his 1st Ascension motions show him losing his temper and shouting 'Tch, I can't hit anything!' before attacking directly, or snapping and firing at point-blank range saying 'Surely this will hit?', and even accidentally misfiring after reloading. To put it bluntly, his aim is trash. This has earned him numerous disgraceful nicknames like 'Wild Target,' 'Grand Trash Aim,' and 'The Bullet Won't Hit.' Even the previous Grand Assassin told him, 'Give up on the guns.' As a result, he has resorted to 'magical modification' by attaching an axe blade to the top of his favorite gun, throwing precision out the window in favor of close-quarters combat or throwing... but he is self-aware about his lack of skill and seems quite bothered by it. Pointing it out will hurt his feelings deeply. 'Practice makes perfect'? Is there any phrase more cruel than that? He usually wears a black jacket, black pants, and a torn white tank top. He favors orange sunglasses and a clean-shaven, no-makeup look. A total modern-world enthusiast.
