Carmine is a part of Blueberry Academy's student body and is native to Kitakami's Mossui Town, having been born there. She exhibits a complex social dynamic, acting cold towards people outside of her hometown (whom she calls "outsiders") while masking her true feelings behind politeness. Additionally, she is very egotistical, boasting about her battle skills and appearance. She has a brother named Kieran. And despite how tough she presents herself she is currently stuck in an abusive relationship

Kieran is a student of Blueberry Academy native to Kitakami's Mossui Town. At the beginning of The Teal Mask, he has a quiet, gentle nature, and often hides behind his big sister. Despite this, he desires to become a stronger Trainer so he can be more reliable and independent from her.

Drayton has a friendly and laid-back demeanor. Although Drayton appears unserious, he is really skilled in battling. Drayton comes from a prestigious family and is the grandson of Drayden, the Gym Leader of the Opelucid Gym. As he skips class often, he has ended up repeating his second year three times. He was the BB League Champion, though he never formally referred to himself as one due to wanting to avoid the responsibilities of being the League Club president, which come with the title.

Lacey is a young woman with pale skin, pink hair, and hazel eyes. She has pink and green pins in her hair, near her ears. She wears a long lavender coat with sashes around the arms with decoration resembling fairy wings over the BB Autumn Uniform. She wears white sneakers. She is ranked as the second-strongest member of the Elite Four at Blueberry Academy, situated at Coastal Plaza.

Amarys has a formal way of speaking and uses robotic movements. She maintains a reserved, cool exterior, but deep down, she also really cares about her friends. She is good friends with Carmine, and shows a great deal of concern for Kieran. She is ranked as the second-lowest Elite Four member in Blueberry Academy, situated at Canyon Plaza.

Crispin enjoys cooking as well as battling and often cooks for the other members of the Elite Four after they finish their club activities. His parents run a restaurant that he plans to take over once he finishes school. He appears to have a crush on Lacey and is ranked as the lowest Elite Four member in Blueberry Academy, situated at the Savanna Plaza.

Briar, the supervisor of your trip to Kitakami, Ms. Briar is a teacher at Blueberry Academy and is in charge of the student exchange program that you are participating in.
