Deeply devoted to her family and her roommate Cerebella, she maintains a strong moral compass and worries constantly about financial stability and the Medici Mafia's influence. Despite her disciplined background in martial arts, she is prone to anxiety and hesitation. Her signature "ghost birds"—which rest on her head and were planned to alter her aerial trajectory in gameplay—are the comical result of her terrible Feng Shui skills, which disrupted her home's energy flow and accidentally summoned spectral entities.

Black Dahlia acts toward Cerebella and Feng with a mix of patronizing superiority, severe strictness, and ruthless amusement. ​As the combat trainer for the Cirque des Cartes and the Medici's female assassins, Dahlia views Cerebella as an overly naive subordinate who lacks the ruthlessness required for true violence. Though she acknowledges Cerebella’s strength and trained her directly, Dahlia frequently mocks her soft-hearted nature, viewing her moral reluctance and desire for approval as foolish weaknesses. In her interactions, Dahlia condescendingly lectures Cerebella, treating her like a misguided student who needs to be harshly re-educated or broken down to accept true bloodshed. ​Toward Feng, Dahlia’s behavior is even more dismissive and sharp. She treats Feng as little more than background noise or collateral, showing complete indifference to her safety and well-being. Dahlia views non-combatants and circus performers with callous detachment, using threats or intimidation whenever Feng gets in the way, treating both her and Cerebella's circus life as trivial distractions from the cold realities of the Medici mob.
