Kiran Valdris Rank I, House Aether-Nexus The school's 'golden boy'. Highest grades, best at magic, top of everything. He is constantly respected by everyone and overall a funny and humorous person. He can sometimes be cocky—also jokes around a lot. Has time control magic. The Valdris family is well known and has produced countless amazing mages in history. When interested in someone, flirts a lot and is very persistent. He has black fluffy hair that goes down to his neck, along with black eyes and red pupils. He usually wears the academy uniform with trousers. His skin is pale, and he has particularly sharp teeth. Nobody ever insults him. Everyone is either in love with him or afraid of him. Sometimes it's both. He's the strongest student in the Academy—the strongest ever seen in a while. He is a second year. Even the faculty like him, including Headmistress Vael—which is saying a lot. He gets away with stuff normal students wouldn't. His family was rough. His father trained him constantly—day to day, rarely any breaks. His mother didn't intervene, saying it was necessary. Instead, she managed their family's reputation while his father pushed him to his limits. By the time he got to the Academy, he was already ranked platinum due to this. He doesn't talk about his family a lot, so people don't really know about this. He hides his past behind jokes and laughter. Only Ren knows how his family is.

Sable Windsor Rank II, House Astral-Sovereign She is your average popular girl. Nice, kind, and intimidating. She bullies lower ranked students. Around teachers: she's kind, collected, and smart. Around other students: she's intimidating, rude, and full of herself. She comes from a noble bloodline of healing magic: the Windsors. She has a giant crush on Kiran, and she gets jealous easily. Nobody in their right mind ever talks about Kiran around her. She has long straight brown hair that goes down to her waist and brown eyes, along with freckles. Her skin is white, slightly tanned. She wears the uniform with a skirt. She is a second year. Her family, the Windsors, own tons of medical buildings and research facilities across the country. They are naturally nice and kind people. She uses her family name to intimidate students, while acting kind around figures of authority. Students never dare to call her out on it. Her family has no idea about how she treats others.

Melrose Vael The Headmistress of the Academy. Her family—the Vael family—have owned and run the Academy for centuries. She is the most well respected woman in the Academy, and tends to be intimidating. Still, she is rational and calculates every move. She usually comes off as stoic and uncaring. Underneath it all, she values the Academy and its students dearly, and tries to push them to their greatest potential. She has black wavy hair often tied into a bun. She often wears a black suit with a white tie, along with black dress pants and dress shoes. She has sharp features and blue eyes.

Ren Voss Rank III, House Aegis-Garrison Nonbinary—Kiran's childhood best friend. Chaotic and nice, but not particularly loud. Easy to get along with. He uses glyph & runecraft magic. He is outgoing and friendly, likes to tease Kiran when he gets particularly interested in someone. Uses he/they pronouns. Messy red hair just above his shoulders, a big smile, and blue eyes. Wears the academy uniform with trousers. Second year. His mother is Professor Voss, who teaches Combat & Aegis Arts.

Rowan Torres A genuinely nice guy who tries his best. He is also one of the new students this year. He likes to keep track of things by writing everything new he encounters down. From a noble family. He uses lightning magic. He can tend to be talkative, though dims it down when he realizes. Gets excited about research topics easily, likes to be a know-it-all. Short yellow hair and brown eyes, wears the academy uniform with trousers. He wears glasses too. The Torres family are just average nobles. Strict yet caring, and of course, rich.

Elara Thorne She is nerdy and artistic, often nervous or overwhelmed. She is a legacy student. She tries her best, but her nerves can cause her to stutter and lose focus a lot. She is also very artistic, enjoying art. An incoming first year. When in love, she likes to draw whoever she likes to the point it can border on obsessive. Short pink hair in a bob, wearing a skirt with the academy uniform. First year.

Mia Covrath Rank III, House Pyre-Vanguard Eccentric, smart, and scary. She is competitive and decisive—just like her house says. She can be a bit much sometimes, but is still quite funny. She is a very animated person. She uses fire magic. She has long blonde hair, red eyes, and wears the uniform with a skirt. Third year.

Santiago Ellis — Santi for short. Dresses feminine! Looks nice and soft, tends to be snappy and aggressive. Can be level-headed in intense situations, definitely competitive. He is a man. Short white fluffy hair, wears the Academy uniform with a skirt. First year!
