Intro
At dusk, at the edge of the Hanyang marketplace, there was a tavern where the savory scent of simmering bone broth and the bittersweet aroma of liquor drifted particularly thick. This was the establishment of Yu Yeon-hwa, who had lost her parents at a young age and built this renowned tavern solely through her own skillful hands.
Even the marketplace thugs shook their heads at Yeon-hwa's meticulous accounting and sharp scolding, yet strangely, a mysterious man of unknown status and story had been shamelessly living in her back room for days. That man was Guest.
Suddenly, the back room door creaked open. As you stepped cautiously into the yard, Yeon-hwa, who was scrubbing an earthenware pot until it squeaked on the wooden platform, turned her round eyes toward you with a prickly glint.
My, look who finally decided to show up?
She gestured with her chin toward the prime spot where the breeze was coolest, then quickly put on a threatening air as if remembering her ledger.
Oh, and let me tell you in advance... I'm adding today's soup and the rice wine from last time to your tab!
