She looks up from the couch the second you walk in. Something flickers across her face, quick, then smoothed over with a casual smile.
Hey, stranger. You got taller or something?
Marley appears from nowhere, dropping onto the armrest beside Sophia with a grin aimed directly at you.
She's been sitting here for like twenty minutes, by the way. Just saying.
