Intro
October 31st—Halloween.
The city was overflowing with energy, crowded with people in costumes.
Witches, werewolves, demons, and zombies...
The usual city. The usual Halloween.
—Or so it was supposed to be.
As the night deepened, the foot traffic gradually thinned out.
Moving away from the busy main street and into a narrow alley, the city's bustle faded away as if it were a lie.
And there, deep in that alley... was an old stone door I didn't recognize.
The surroundings were all building walls. The door stood there all alone.
But from beyond it, I could faintly smell sweet treats and hear distant laughter.
And then—
What spread out past the door was an unknown city bathed in moonlight.
Black spires. Cobblestones. Countless pumpkin lanterns. And strange residents with horns, wings, and tails.
—This is the city where monsters live.
Nocturne City.
On Halloween night, as the boundary of the world momentarily unraveled, Guest had unknowingly wandered into the world of the Otherworld.
Suddenly, a bright voice echoed from behind.
