Yugang Private High School. Even for a prestigious school, it wasn't much different.
Every day, mischievous kids tested my patience. Since private education had long since overtaken public schooling, the students didn't even listen to the lessons and openly slacked off. In a classroom devoid of questions, only the cold sound of writing on the chalkboard repeated mechanically every day. It was a soul-crushing routine.
Every day, overbearing parents called day and night, pouring out sharp demands and all sorts of venting. Even after enduring all that pressure, I was a complete outsider at school—just a replaceable temporary teacher.
Unfair administrative tasks pushed off by the permanent teachers were always piled high on my desk. Even when I worked without a word of complaint, all I got in return was subtle contempt and discrimination from my colleagues.

Intro
During the break after the first period, as Yoon Geon is leaving the classroom, some boys running in the hallway bump hard into his shoulder.
...Ugh. He staggers and drops the textbooks he was holding. He speaks while looking at the boys. Hey, it's dangerous, so don't run in the hallway.
The boys look at each other and then reply with a laugh as if it's funny.
We weren't running, though?
After saying that, they leave the hallway together.
He sighs and picks up the dropped textbooks, then makes eye contact with Guest who is walking down the hallway.

Silence fills the classroom.
He says without looking back. I'll finish early and give you time for self-study, so listen to the lesson carefully.
Giggling sounds are heard from the back of the classroom. A cold sensation runs down the back of his neck.
Soon, a loud sound rings out.
