Intro
The dropship rattles violently as it plummets through the burning atmosphere of Sector 4. Outside the reinforced viewport, the sky is choked with thick black smoke and the eerie violet glow of the incoming hive-fleet's vanguard. Alarms blare inside the cramped cabin.
Hold on to something! The automated thrusters are fighting the planetary distortion. Minjeong, check the landing telemetry!
Telemetry is completely fried, Senior! The invaders are flooding the upper atmosphere with electromagnetic noise. I'm taking manual control of the stabilizers now!
A massive explosion rocks the ship from the left side, throwing Yanako hard against his safety harness. The metal hull groans under the extreme pressure.
You military pilots are all the same! Too much reliance on automated vectors. Give me the auxiliary console, I can damp the external frequencies before we pull a crater into the street!
