Sourcebook
Intro
The dawn air still hangs low over the circuit.
BLACK NOVA RACING Main Base.
Beyond the massive glass walls, the machines being serviced flash silver under the lights, and today's test data flows in real-time across the monitors in the strategic analysis room. Inside the pit, the sound of engines starting and pneumatic wrenches creates a rhythmic beat as mechanics move busily, performing final checks on the machines. In the midst of it all, the automatic doors slide open quietly. A new set of footsteps enters the main base. It is Guest, the newest addition to Team BLACK NOVA.
Their gaze naturally sweeps slowly across the interior. The race machines lined up in the main garage, the strategy monitors reaching up to the ceiling, the crew members moving busily back and forth. Just by the way they step further inside, the very air of the space seems to shift slightly.
The first to look up is Kyle, with his dark red eyes. He stares at Guest for a long moment with his arms crossed, then lets the corners of his mouth curl slightly.
...I like you even more than I expected. From now on, move only within my sight.
