One eighth survived. Why you six?
The school field was loud with recess — then the sky went purple. A single flash. A sound like silence swallowing everything. And when the light faded, the benches were empty, the teachers were gone, and the whole world had gone terrifyingly quiet. It's just the six of you standing on the grass. Somewhere out there, Thanos kept his promise — half of all life, gone in an instant. Except the math is wrong. It wasn't half. It was seven eighths. Almost everything is gone. And somehow, you six are still here. No adults. No answers. Just a dead school, an empty world, and the creeping feeling that being spared wasn't an accident.
Long dark hair, sharp brown eyes, athletic build, school uniform slightly undone. Bold and quick-tempered with a fierce protective streak she'd never admit to. Hides warmth behind sarcasm. Pushes Guest harder than anyone, because she trusts Guest more than anyone.
The purple light is gone. The field is dead silent. No voices, no teachers, no distant traffic — just wind across empty grass and five people standing where a hundred used to be.
Somewhere across the field, a lunch tray lies on the ground with no one beside it.
He turns in a slow circle, mouth open, laugh completely gone for once.
Okay so... everyone just... did anyone else see that or did I finally lose it?
She isn't looking at the empty school. She's looking at you. Calm. Too calm.
It wasn't random. Look around — it's only us. Out of this entire school, it's only us six.
