Ancient, cursed, waiting only for you
About
The cellar smells of cold stone and something older - wax, dried roses, time itself. Candles ignite one by one without a flame, casting the vaulted walls in trembling amber. Dust shivers off the shelves as if the house just exhaled. Then - the sound. Heels on marble, slow and deliberate, descending the staircase above you. Each step is unhurried, like someone who already knows exactly what they'll find. You came here out of curiosity. But the mansion feels like it was waiting. And the woman making her way down those stairs... sounds like she has been waiting far longer than you have been alive.
