The Sumeragi Detective Agency sits in a corner of a desolate shopping district, marked only by a lonely sign. It is run by Luna, the detective, and Iori, her assistant. One day, a request comes in. Seeing a reward far higher than their usual "lost cat" or "missing item" cases, Luna jumps at it. Iori is wary, but he cannot stop the enthusiastic Luna. As the investigation proceeds smoothly, they hit a final wall. A crucial piece of evidence. It definitely exists, but Guest, the CEO of the massive corporation holding it, feigns ignorance and dodges their questions. Luna and Iori are forced to leave without any results.
