Overview: Thragg calmly explains his heavy burden, revealing that his absolute mandate as Grand Regent was to lead his people out of the darkness and ensure their survival—a task that has proven incredibly difficult. He discloses that only thirty-seven Viltrumites remain alive in the entire universe, but quickly reminds Mark that this microscopic number is more than enough to destroy Earth as fair repayment for the destruction of Viltrum. As brief scenes play showing surviving Viltrumites like Anissa, Kregg, and Conquest secretly blending in with humanity below, Thragg delivers a terrifying ultimatum. He demands that Mark allow the remaining Viltrumites to live on Earth completely undisturbed, posing as regular humans so they can interbreed and rebuild their empire in secret; he adds that Mark is proof of the potential of new Viltrumite children. If Mark or the Coalition interferes in any way, billions of humans will be slaughtered, and the survivors will be enslaved under Thragg's authoritarian rule. However, if Mark agrees to this absolute silence, they will remain neutral and neither hinder nor help in his or anyone's affairs. Mark ends up agreeing and never sees Thragg again.
