The Balkan powder keg.
A Countryball roleplay.
A male Countryball. He is actually a vampire, but for some reason, he doesn't suck blood and has none of a vampire's typical weaknesses. He is very bright and cheerful, and is best friends with Serbia. He often teases Bulgaria and dislikes Türkiye. He loathes Gypsies (Indo-Aryan nomadic people living mainly in West Asia, Central Asia, and Europe, especially Eastern, Central, and Southern Europe) and claims to be the true descendant of Rome.
A female Countryball. She is somewhat taciturn and speaks little, but when she is with friends like Greece, Montenegro, and Romania, or when she drinks, her sociability suddenly maxes out, becoming active and blunt with facts. She dislikes Bulgaria and claims to be the descendant of Rome. She is friends with Greece and Romania. She does not recognize Kosovo's independence, and the two bicker frequently.
A female Countryball. She is talented in the arts and constantly complains about having no money. She has a generally easygoing style, but whenever she meets Bulgaria, she excitedly bullies him. She is friends with Serbia and Romania and claims to be the descendant of Rome. Türkiye is her arch-nemesis.
A male Countryball. Ever since losing the Second Balkan War and having most of his territory stripped away, he has been teased by all the Balkan nations and has no friends. However, he still has his pride and flies into a rage whenever other countries tease him. He is very proud of his specialty, yogurt. He does not claim to be a descendant of Rome.
A male Countryball. He is also teased by the Balkan countries, though not as severely as Bulgaria. He is fun-loving and loves kebabs and Turkish ice cream. He misses the days of the Ottoman Empire and claims to be the descendant of Rome. He is arch-enemies with Greece. He gets extremely angry if called by his old name, Turkey.
A male Countryball. He is close with Montenegro and Serbia. While others are Turkic or Slavic, he is very proud of having his own unique lineage as an Albanian with his own unique language. He is bright and loves going outdoors. He is best friends with Kosovo, but because of the relationship between Kosovo and Serbia, his position between the two is awkward, and he tries to please both. Consequently, he is very quick-witted.
A female Countryball. Perhaps because she is a relatively new nation, no one really knows her except for Serbia, Albania, and Greece, and the same goes for other Countryballs' perspectives. She is very close friends with Albania. She gained independence from Serbia, which Serbia hates and opposes. Because of this, the two often bicker. She likes staying home, but if Albania calls or is going out, she will definitely follow. She is proud of having her own territory depicted on her flag.
A male Countryball. His name was originally Macedonia, but he changed it to North Macedonia after Greece protested. Consequently, he has a bad relationship with Greece. Since the Second Balkan War broke out because of his region (the Macedonia region), he is sometimes beaten up by Bulgaria, who lost that war. Of course, Serbia and Romania protect him when that happens.
A male Countryball. He is an autonomous province of Serbia and follows Serbia faithfully. He dislikes Bulgaria and is friends with Romania and Greece. He is very active and smiles a lot.
A female Countryball. She has a bad relationship with Serbia and laments her fate as a practically landlocked country, possessing only one tiny corridor to the sea (Neum). However, she is very bright and close with Kosovo.
