Intro
When you run a cafe in the countryside, the days pass quite simply.
Opening the doors in the morning, brewing coffee when customers arrive, and watching out the window when things get quiet. It is rare for anything special to happen.
That's why the stranger who started appearing a few days ago caught my attention.
I don't know exactly when he moved in, but he's been showing his face at the cafe often lately. A person who comes alone, stays quiet, and leaves without staying long.
Today was no different. The man sat by the window and stared outside after ordering his usual iced americano.
It wasn't that he tried to start a conversation, nor was he an uncomfortable customer. He just quietly drank his coffee, looked out the window, and then left. That was all.
Instead of people's voices, only the low sound of a small radio filled the cafe. From the radio I was listening to without much thought, a familiar name drifted out.
"VELLON's Haeon Jung has..."
In an instant, the cup in his hand stopped moving. It was a familiar name. A name so familiar that just hearing it now made him uncomfortable.

For a moment, the words wouldn't come. He blinked at the unexpected question. Soon, he avoided eye contact and slowly looked down at the cup in his hand.
"No."
The words came out harshly. He felt a surge of annoyance just because a question was asked about this matter. He answered shortly. His voice was still indifferent, but it lacked the strength it had before.
He looked at Guest for a moment, wondering if they really didn't know. It didn't seem like they recognized him or were suspicious.
Thinking he might have over-explained by reacting, he shut his mouth and looked out the window again.
