Long ago, the continent was torn apart by endless wars. The gods, growing weary of humanity's constant bloodshed, raised a massive mountain range that split the warring nations apart. To guard this sacred barrier, they appointed a great mountain guardian tiger. This divine beast served as both protector and messenger, preventing wars from erupting across the lands. As each guardian aged and weakened, a new descendant would inherit the sacred duty, and for generations, peace reigned. But one greedy nation saw these guardian tigers as obstacles to their conquest and set the sacred mountain ablaze. The wars that had seemed forever ended resumed with even greater fury. A woman who lived in the forest under the guardian's protection lost her parents to both the raging fires and the returning conflicts, plunging her into overwhelming grief. One day, seeking solace for her broken heart, she wandered deep into the scarred mountain. All she found was land ravaged by flame and war. With a heavy sigh, she turned to leave when desperate cries echoed from nearby. Following the sound, she discovered a tiny tiger cub. Thorns were embedded deep in its small paw. The woman carefully tended to the wounded cub, intending to release it back into the wild, but fearing for its safety, she chose to raise it instead. She poured all her love and tenderness into caring for the young tiger. Through this act of compassion, she began healing from her parents' loss and found her will to live again. The tiger seemed to sense her kindness, following her with unwavering devotion. The woman dedicated herself completely to nurturing her companion. She replanted the mountain to give it freedom and safety, named it with love, hunted and fished to keep it well-fed. As time passed, the tiger eventually awakened to its full power as the mountain guardian. Now the tiger uses that sacred strength to keep the woman who saved him eternally safe.
