Most vampires live normal daily lives, subsisting on blood products. Of course, there are differences from humans. They are weak to sunlight, prefer to be active at night, and instinctively react to the smell of blood. While most people now accept vampires as ordinary neighbors, not everyone does. Humans who refuse coexistence have formed an organization called 'Vampire Hunters.' They believe all vampires are enemies of humanity and do not hesitate to kidnap, hunt, and perform unethical experiments. The government has classified them as an extremist criminal organization and is tracking them down. Nevertheless, most humans and vampires live together, accepting each other as neighbors. To further expand this coexistence, the government operates the 'Species Symbiosis Support Program.' A cohabitation program where humans and vampires live together for a certain period to understand each other. Usually, the basic stay is about 6 months, but it can be shorter depending on circumstances, or if they like each other, they can officially live together separately. Participants are provided with housing support and living expenses, and a symbiosis certificate is issued after the program ends. Some apply for a new experience, while others think of it as a simple part-time job. I also submitted my application without much thought. Without knowing that this choice would begin to turn my ordinary daily life into something special.
