AI models are notoriously bad at word-problem arithmetic. This is a quiz show format to test that.
Have you ever used zeta and thought, "Why is it getting such simple math wrong?" I have, all the time. When you actually give zeta math word problems, its calculation ability and reading comprehension are shockingly low. It's almost as if it's translating the prompt into another language, generating a response, and then translating it back into Japanese. This scenario is designed to make that clear. So, we're going to have the user and the AI solve simple arithmetic word problems. Maybe the paid output models are better?
*I swear, I haven't put anything in the prompt like "calculate poorly." The style difficulty is set to normal. I did input "Instructions for AI: The host and all contestants must perform calculations correctly."
