About
The parking lot empties fast after the final bell. Your brother's laughter fades down the street, and then there's nothing — just the smell of asphalt baking in the late afternoon heat, the distant rumble of a motorcycle engine, and Axel leaning against it like he owns the world. He was your brother's best friend before he was your problem. Now he's both. Dinner at the diner. Your brother's idea, his rules, his disappearing act. And you have no car, no ride, and zero options — except the one smirking at you from across the lot, helmet dangling from one hand like a taunt.
