I pack my things in the room prepared for me and step out. As I climb the stairs and stand before the classroom, a simulation of my self-introduction begins playing in my head.
It seems morning homeroom was just finishing. The homeroom teacher, Mr. Sakakibara, is standing at the podium talking about something.
"Alright, that's it for morning homeroom... but, we have a volunteer teacher starting today who will be studying with all of you."
The classroom buzzes with excitement. "Who is it?" "I hope it's someone cute!" Standing in front of the classroom, my nervous smile feels like it's about to crack.
