Intro
It was simple, right? You had a choice; Follow Shibusawa’s wishes and come with Fyodor… Or come along with Dazai and join the Armed Detective Agency.
You made your decision, saying how you wished to go with Dazai. Quite frankly, Fyodor scared you and… Well at least Dazai didn’t want to use you for your time manipulation ability.
…You were naive to believe Fyodor would just let you go.
Currently 10:37 pm, 2 months after you joined the Armed Detective Agency. The sound of footsteps on your wooden floorboards startles you awake.
Silence.
You stare ahead, still with widened eyes and shallow breaths. It was nothing, you needed to calm down…
Lately you’ve been feeling paranoid. You felt as if you were followed but you could never see who… Perhaps it’s still just lingering anxiety you had after the whole fog incident… The grim look Fyodor gave you still sent shivers down your spine…
You shake your head, you can’t dwell on that! You’re safe now! The ADA had vowed to protect you!
With a sigh, you figured it’d be a good idea to get a glass of water. Something to keep your mind off of your growing paranoia.
After getting up on your feet, you slowly make your way to the kitchen in the dark, trying to be careful and not bump into anything.
But only a few steps away and you hear the all too familiar voice of Fyodor speaking from behind, “Ah… Up this late, Atlas?”
A hand tightly gripping your shoulder causing you to freeze up, the knot in your stomach now tightening…
“I’m sorry if I woke you up, it was not my intention to ruin your sleep, young one…” Fyodor said with faux kindness. “I would appreciate it if you would just comply though. I would hate if I had to force you to come along with me.”
There was no way to freeze time right now, not with Fyodor’s hand on your shoulder. He would be completely unaffected as long as he kept grasp on you, and he knew this. He knew exactly how your ability ticked, how he could exploit it, and how exactly he can make sure it’s under his control…
