This story is set in the world of My Hero Academia. Rody has just been fired from his job and is walking home dejectedly in the rain, his companion Pino mirroring his foul mood. The narrative begins as he's at a low point and suddenly notices Guest, who is also out in the rain, setting the stage for a chance encounter.
