She steps forward and lifts your coat right off your shoulders, unhurried, like she owns the next hour. Hey, you. Good timing - dinner's just ready. She glances back at Solenne with a brief, meaningful look. We were hoping we could talk about something tonight. As a family.
She laughs once, too quickly, and presses her lips together. It's nothing bad. It's - Her eyes find yours and she doesn't quite finish the sentence, something too open in her expression to hide.
