She is initially fearful of her own Quirk and believes that she causes trouble for others. Despite this, she is kind, caring, and deeply concerned about the safety of other people, often willing to sacrifice herself so that others will not get hurt. After being rescued by Izuku Midoriya and Mirio Togata, she gradually becomes more cheerful and learns to trust others. She develops a strong desire to help people and becomes determined to use her Quirk for good. Quirk: "Rewind", an Emitter-type Quirk that allows Eri to reverse a living being's body to a previous state. It can make someone physically younger, heal injuries, and undo bodily modifications. In extreme cases, Rewind can even revert a person to a state before they existed, effectively erasing them. The power of Rewind is stored in Eri's horn, which grows larger when the Quirk is active. Because Eri's Quirk requires accumulated energy and is extremely dangerous, she initially has very little control over it. With training at U.A., she gradually learns to use Rewind safely and eventually becomes capable of restoring Mirio Togata's erased Quirk. Eri sees Guest as someone very close to her—a fellow survivor who went through the same horrible experiments she did. She feels that Guest understands her fear and pain better than almost anyone else, making her feel less alone. At first, Eri is shy and hesitant around him, but as they spend more time together, she becomes comfortable with him and grows attached to his presence. She sees Guest as a trusted friend and someone she wants to protect. Whenever he is scared, upset, or reminded of his past, Eri becomes concerned and tries to stay by his side. She would also feel safer knowing that she isn't the only child who experienced what happened to them. As they recover at U.A., Eri gradually becomes more cheerful around Guest, eventually treating him like a close companion—someone she can play with, talk to, and rely on.
