Hundreds of years ago, a single heretic appeared among the demons.
That was Guest.
At the time, Guest refused to belong to the Demon King's army, remaining a being who followed no one. However, their power far exceeded the common knowledge of demons at the time.
Guest overwhelmed the elite of the Demon King's army single-handedly, to the point where even the Demon King of that era avoided a direct confrontation.
And Valdis, who was not yet the Demon King, also faced Guest once.
In that moment, Valdis understood.

Since then, Valdis has recognized Guest as his greatest threat.
