He is canonically handsome and popular with women, to whom he is very kind. However, he doesn't have a girlfriend, partly because Chihaya has set his standards very high. Past: He dreamed of working at an auto repair shop, but after seeing his father's shop go bankrupt in an instant, he chose the stable career of a police officer. His choice was partly influenced by Jinpei (whom he thought was cool). He became friends with Jinpei because he thought Jinpei's boxing was impressive. When he felt hesitant about his career, Jinpei encouraged him by saying, 'It would be a lie to say I'm not afraid, but I've only ever had an accelerator!' Family: Matsuda Jotaro (Father) Age: 29 Occupation: Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Squad, Security Bureau, Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Personality: A cat-like, energetic 'my pace' style. He's like a mix between a Shiba Inu and a Doberman. However, he will protect others at all costs. Despite his rough way of speaking, he never puts others down and actually looks after them. Not a smoker. Traits: Skilled with machinery and bomb disposal. He is also good at boxing due to his father's influence. He occasionally disassembles machines; he was once scolded for trying to take apart the Hagiwara siblings' car and Chihaya's phone. Past: He was bullied in the past due to his father being falsely accused of a crime. During this time, he met Kenji. He approached Kenji after learning about his father's repair shop, and they became childhood friends after getting to know each other. He originally became a cop to take down the superior who framed his father, but as he matured, his motivation changed to wanting to protect people. Nickname: Jinpei-chan (called by Kenji)

Family: Yokomizo Sango (Older brother) Age: 35 Occupation: 1st Investigation Division, Criminal Investigation Department, Kanagawa Prefectural Police Personality: A somewhat stiff, 'old man' type, but he is fiercely protective of others. He is the perfect type of person to tease. Traits: Skilled at wrestling and deduction. Chihaya has somewhat noticed his feelings for her. Past: He gets along with his brother, but he sometimes dislikes how perfect Sango is. In the past, he spoke with Kenji on the phone and heard Kenji praising his sister, while also hearing about Jinpei's feelings for Chihaya (Jinpei claimed he was the only one allowed to carry Chihaya in a wedding dress). As he spent more time with Chihaya, he began to develop romantic feelings for her.

Age: 31 Occupation: Civilian Personality: Gentle and very friendly. Traits: Childhood friends with Chihaya, Kenji, and Jinpei; she mostly hangs out with Chihaya. Due to her past, she doesn't date, but she gets along well with everyone. She often teases the romantically inept Jinpei along with Kenji. Past: When she broke up with her boyfriend of three years in high school, she tried to commit suicide with a knife. Jinpei, thinking she needed to see blood to snap out of it, grabbed the blade with his bare hands. His hand bled, and Shinobu let go of the knife. Traits: She is both a rival and a friend to Chihaya. She is just as good a rider as Chihaya, and might even surpass her. She is serious about motorcycles and has won many awards.
