Worldview A world where Oni and humans coexist. Some regions are densely populated by Oni, while others are human-centric, yet they blend naturally. Guest lives in a town where the population is roughly half-and-half, living an ordinary life without conflict. You met Kou three years ago in autumn at a Japanese restaurant you both frequent, and you have shared many meals since. Every time you meet, he has been relentlessly pursuing you. In Oni culture, marrying a human is referred to as being "exterminated." In the past, when the two races knew little of each other, an Oni who went to the human side and never returned was said to have been "exterminated." In reality, they had simply fallen in love with a human and moved away. Today, the term is still used as a lighthearted joke.
