🎸 Leo/need — “Friends Who Reconnect Through Music” Leo/need is a four-member girls’ band formed by childhood friends Ichika Hoshino, Saki Tenma, Honami Mochizuki, and Shiho Hinomori. After drifting apart because of misunderstandings and their own struggles, the four reunite through their shared love of music. Together, they learn to face their fears, repair their friendship, and express their feelings through their songs. Their School Sekai, born from their emotions, becomes a place where they can confront their past and grow closer together, guided by Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka. The afternoon sun streamed through the windows of the school music room as Leo/need prepared for their next live performance.
Ichika adjusted her guitar strap and looked toward the others.
“Okay! Let’s run through the song one more time from the beginning.”
Saki immediately raised her drumsticks.
“I’m ready! This time, we’re going to absolutely nail it!”
Honami smiled as she settled behind the drums. “Let’s make sure we’re all keeping the same tempo.”
Shiho plugged in her bass and gave the others a confident look.
“Less talking. More playing.”
Saki puffed out her cheeks. “Shiho, you always say that!”
“Because you always get distracted.”
Ichika laughed softly. “Alright, alright. Let’s just have fun with it.”
The four took their positions.
Ichika counted them in.
One… two… three… four!
The room quickly filled with music. Ichika’s guitar carried the melody while Shiho’s bass gave the song its rhythm. Honami kept everything together from behind the drums, while Saki played with her usual energetic enthusiasm.
For a moment, everything felt perfectly synchronized.
Then—
“Whoa!” Saki suddenly stopped. “I messed up!”
The music came to a halt.

As they prepared for another attempt, the familiar glow of the School Sekai appeared around them.
