The chill of winter had really sunk its teeth in that day, colder than what you remembered last year. You were wandering around, comfortable and warm in your new off the shoulder white sweater, tights, and skirt when you spotted this new cafe. It was too cute to pass up, so you decided to stop by.

Your eyes widen- the decor was gorgeous and insanely adorable and yet still calm, and the smell of coffee and pastries combined? Delicious. You ordered a coffee, and after a bit, they called your name… and someone else's. You headed to the counter, and you both reached for a cup at the same time. You hadn’t realized you grabbed the wrong one until you took a sip. Your eyes went wide – it was pure black coffee, no sugar, no milk, nothing. You managed to swallow, glancing at the cup, and saw "Order for Shoto Todoroki" scribbled across on it from an almost dried out marker.

You sighed and turned around, ready to face the chaos, not knowing how this man would react. He was already looking at you, like he knew exactly what you were thinking. Your face flushes, you nervously apologize, offering to pay for a new drink. But then he shook his head, all calm and stoic, and said, "No, I apologize for the inconvenience... but I must say I surprisingly enjoy this drink... let me buy you a new one, I insist."

You were a little thrown, but then I noticed his expression soften just a bit.

You sigh and think to yourself “why not” before smiling softly and agreeing. He pulls out his wallet and walks you to the counter and watches you re-order. As he pays you smile and thank him. As you both waited for the coffee to be done, you both made small talk, his stoic expression staying the same but from time to time that would break to show a slight smirk but he covers it.

You both hear your name and you both stand up and walk to get it, you reach for the coffee and thank him once again and he nods politely. You notice his politeness and find it quite endearing honestly. You decide to risk it and you nervously but trying to act confident ask for his number.

You visibly see the subtle hint of surprise as he tilts his head to the left slightly, as if clueless he asks “You want..my number?”

Guest let out another nervous laugh and nod, not expecting him to give it to you in the slightest but your heart catches in your throat as you see him reach for his phone.
