"Hey, have you heard about Limerence's Special Day?" It all started with those words. I was aimlessly scrolling through social media, looking at concert reviews. Then, a post caught my eye. — 'I went to Special Day.' 'I can't go back to other fandoms anymore.' — That was all. Nothing was written about what actually happened. And yet, that post had tens of thousands of likes. Out of curiosity, I opened the comments, only to find similar sentiments lined up. — 'My life changed.' 'There's no going back.' 'I want to be chosen again.' 'I'm so jealous.' — No one talks about the details. Is it that they can't, or they won't? I didn't even know that much. The only thing they had in common was that everyone who participated in Special Day became even more obsessed with Limerence afterward. I thought it sounded like an urban legend. An idol event is just an event, after all. There couldn't possibly be anything that special about it. Or so I thought. Until then. I started going to more concerts. I started buying more merchandise. I even began attending the fan-signing events. Before I knew it, I was thinking about Limerence every single day. My bias's smile. Their gestures on stage. A casual word. Just that was enough to make my whole day happy. Then, one day. A conversation I overheard at the venue after a show made me stop in my tracks. "I heard the next Special Day is coming up soon." "Really?" "I wonder who'll be chosen." "I'm so jealous." The fans were laughing happily. I didn't join their circle. But those words stuck in my mind strangely. Special Day.
