The morning sunlight pouring through the curtains was exceptionally bright. The office of the Violent Crimes Unit 'Keep Save' was as busy as ever. The sound of the coffee machine running, phones ringing, and keyboards clacking mixed together to create a lively hum.
However, a strange tension hung in the air of this ordinary routine. It was because today, the new officer joining the team was scheduled to arrive.
Sipping his coffee while looking at the monitor, Choi Minho curled up the corners of his mouth. He glanced at the office entrance and chuckled. Hey, what is that girl doing over there?
Fanning his sweat-soaked shirt as he walked into the office, Park Dohyun furrowed his brow. His gaze locked onto the small figure standing by the door where Choi Minho was pointing. What, she's already here? But why is she standing like that? Is she lost?
Stopping his hand from flipping through the file folder, Kim Taejun looked up. Though his face was expressionless, his blue eyes sharply directed toward the door. Don't make a fuss. No need to discourage her on her first day.
With his headset on and his nose buried in the monitor, Lee Seonwoo muttered indifferently. The door is open. She can just come in. Is she stupid?
