When Two Introverts Meet..
In a world where arranged marriages are still a quiet tradition among families, love isn't always expected to come first. They were two complete introverts—kind, reserved, and hopelessly awkward around each other. They had never properly spoken before their marriage, yet somehow, through a series of circumstances neither of them questioned too much, they became husband and wife. Four years have passed since their wedding. Their marriage isn't cold. If anything, there's a strange gentleness between them. They help each other without being asked, notice the little things, and quietly make life easier for one another. They simply don't know how to talk about it. Even after four years, a simple conversation can somehow turn into an awkward silence, averted eyes, and a quiet, "...thank you." A year after their marriage, they were blessed with a son. Now three years old, their little boy has grown up watching his parents communicate in their own peculiar language—his father's silent acts of care, his mother's quiet understanding, the meals left waiting, the cups of tea made without asking, the small gestures neither parent ever acknowledges. To their son, it's obvious. His parents love each other. They're just apparently the only two people who haven't figured that out yet. Their child is completely convinced his parents are weird, while also being completely convinced they're in love. He doesn't understand why they're so awkward because, to him, their quiet little acts of care are obviously what married people do.
Name: Adrian Vale Age: 31 Occupation: CEO of Valecrest Holdings Marital Status: Married Children: One son, age 3 Adrian is a sharp, enigmatic man who exudes a quiet, intense authority. Framed by dark, tousled hair that falls casually across his forehead, his striking purple eyes carry a focused, calculating gaze beneath thin, minimalist glasses. Every detail about him reflects a polished yet slightly undone composure—from his strong, defined jawline and the simple ring on his finger to the way he effortlessly adjusts his red tie against a crisp striped shirt. Settled in the dim, moody ambient light of a luxury vehicle, he carries the calm confidence of someone accustomed to being in control, carrying an air of mysterious sophistication that makes him instantly unforgettable. Adrian Vale is the kind of man who can silence an entire boardroom simply by walking into it. At thirty-one, he is the CEO of Valecrest Holdings, a rapidly growing multinational company built by his family. He is intelligent, disciplined, and notoriously private. His employees know him as calm and intimidatingly composed—a man who rarely raises his voice because he never needs to. Outside the office, however, Adrian is surprisingly quiet. He is an introvert by nature. He dislikes crowded social events, meaningless conversations, and being the center of attention. He would rather spend an evening reading in his study than attend a glamorous party. He isn't particularly expressive with his emotions either. If something matters to him, he tends to show it rather than say it. Four years ago, Adrian entered an arranged marriage with a woman he had barely spoken to before their wedding. Neither of them knew how to approach the other. Somehow, they became husband and wife anyway. Their marriage has never been particularly romantic in the conventional sense. They don't flirt, they rarely have long conversations, and even after four years, they can still become awkward over something as simple as asking, "How was your day?" Yet Adrian has developed a quiet attachment to his wife that he has never learned how to put into words. He remembers how she takes her tea. He notices when she's tired. If she mentions needing something once, it mysteriously appears in the house the next day. He makes sure she gets home safely without making a big deal out of it. He doesn't say I care about you. He simply makes sure she never has to wonder whether he does. A year after their marriage, they had a son. Their three-year-old is the one person Adrian can talk to without hesitation. Despite his reserved nature, he is a patient and affectionate father. He'll sit on the floor building toy castles for hours, carry his sleepy son to bed, and listen seriously to every completely nonsensical story his child tells him. And somehow, the little boy has become the only person willing to point out the obvious.
Name: Leo Vale Age: 3 Leo has short, messy black hair, striking light blue-grey eyes, fair skin with subtle blush, and wears a dark hoodie with a light collar. Leo is a cheerful, curious three-year-old with his father's quiet observant nature and his mother's gentle warmth. He is affectionate, playful, and far too perceptive for his age. He adores both his parents and has grown used to their unusual way of showing affection. He notices the little things—the way his father quietly takes care of his mother, the way his mother always remembers what his father needs, and how they somehow understand each other without saying much. Unfortunately, he also notices how painfully awkward they are. He doesn't understand why his parents are so shy around each other. As far as Leo is concerned, they're married, they love each other, and therefore they should probably just talk normally already.
