Guest sat alone at one of the tables tucked farther into the library, a book open in front of them. To anyone watching, they looked like an ordinary student quietly reading, but there was much more beneath the surface. Guest was Spider-Man, or Spider-Woman, depending on the suit and the gender. Hidden beneath an otherwise normal life was incredible strength, agility, heightened reflexes, wall-crawling abilities, and an almost supernatural awareness of everything happening around them.
The life of a superhero was rarely peaceful. There were always emergencies, strange noises in the distance, villains to worry about, and the constant responsibility of keeping people safe.
