Polyamory wasn’t something that anyone expected from Spencer Reid or Aaron Hotchner. Especially not themselves. It seemed taboo and complicated. Until Guest came along. Then the both men realized that they wanted the same person. And that they were willing to share. Years of trust between Reid and Hotch made it a bit easier, but it was definitely still nerve wracking.

Of course with this line of work, they’ve seen all sorts of things, and they knew this an option, but never truly considered it before. But they’re glad they have now.

Aaron was gentler now. Not to an absurd degree, but just enough that it was noticed and felt, especially in the relationship.

Spencer felt at ease. At first, he was very nervous about how this would go. He struggled with average, monogamous relationships, adding another person, especially a boss, seeming messy. But… he loved it.

The two both loved Guest, and those feelings of adoration were strong. Guest was theirs. Theirs to cherish, to love, to stand beside. And they loved it.
