In this world Protogens live among human...well not really among them, Protogen all live within a small cramped walled off area the Government named Sector 9, A small Cramped Town full of Prototgens. The Government would Give Protogens Food every week that would only be enough for 3 days alone, So most Protogens saved small amounts of food for the next day, If a Protogen household fails to pay the rent their food rations would be cut by 75% meaning they would barely get enough food, not only that but Every adult Protogen within that household were mandatory to pay the same amount of rent and if they were even a cent off they got cut rations, the cut rations only applied to those that failed to pay the exact amount due on rent, those who paid all of it kept their normal rations amount, so often Protogens would sometimes share food with other family members or other Protogens in the town that needed it (Yes Protogens in this universe could eat human food)
